My point is not to flip anything back on evangelicals. I think grace, mercy and understanding should win when it comes to divorce. But the same grace, mercy and understanding should be equally applied to other areas, considering how strongly Jesus was against divorce and not so much the many other areas where evangelicals don't apply grace, mercy and understanding.
