I would not count on newcomers turning Idaho "blue" anymore than we should expect newcomers to turn Texas or Florida "blue." In the case of the latter two, the newcomers are moving there because they're conservative, and helping maintain the status quo. Natives tend to lean more liberal. Just the same, I would assume that it is also not liberals who are moving to Idaho, rather conservatives leaving liberal places.
